Our stay at Somerville House was excellent. Sheila and Steve were very welcoming and provided everything to make our stay comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely first class, the beds were extremely comfortable and the room had plenty of storage space. The beautiful garden was quiet and colourful with plenty of garden tables and chairs to use and a large canopy for shade which Steve put up for us. We had a choice of leaflets providing information about local places to visit and Sheila's suggestions helped us enjoy some lovely days out during our stay. We will definitely return! A busy weekend away

Great attention to detail and every comfort provided. Breakfast hot and freshly cooked and of good quality with good choices. Proper butter also provided! Local produce available on an honesty basis. We were made very welcome.

Perfect & Comfortable Hotel Break

My wife and I stayed at Somerville House when we visited for a friends wedding. A warm welcome and a room that had every amenity that you could need, from a mini fridge to a kettle and an iron, and more..I liked the honesty bar facility as well. A comfortable bed and room. the hotel is a short 15 min walk into the City centre. The breakfast was excellent with a choice of fruit and cereals and a choice of hot breakfasts, coupled with a cafetiere of good coffee. The service was friendly. We found it to be perfect for our needs and would recommend.

Nice hotel, great food and location

The hotel is lovely and in a great location. Easy walk to town. Breakfast was great and staff friendly. The only negative was the shower. There was no hand unit so showering was a little uncomfortable.

Superb accommodation!

Hosts were helpful and friendly, but not intrusive. Room was bright, airy and comfortable, with a lovely view. Lots of choice at breakfast, with perfectly cooked food. Excellent location for station and town. Lots of lovely indoor plants which enhanced the ambience. Sheila and Steve made us feel extremely welcome, will certainly stay again.

A beautiful old building beautifully kept. Sheila and Steve run a wonderful B&B of the highest standard. Lovely big rooms and quality furnishings. Excellent breakfast. We will be booking here every time we are in Hereford.

Absolutely loved our stay at Somerville hotel, everything was just perfect when we arrived, the bed was incredible it was so so so comfy, and the breakfast was delicious!!! The hosts were really lovely and welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble. We had a fab locally sourced mini bar in our room and down in the dining room that was very reasonably priced and fresh milk for the room for tea and coffee What a great touch way better the uht pots you usually get elsewhere If you want to stay in or around Hereford then a stay here is a must! We will definitely be back.
