Disappointed by poor check in especially as we weren’t feeling well & needed to rest. Reason for delay was given as Supervisor had to check to confirm room at standard. Finally given access after 40mins, advised needed to still sort mini bar & would deliver tea with milk, neither happened.
Ceiling in bathroom began leaking during the night, with water all over floor, my wife narrowly missed slipping & having a dangerous fall. Reported to reception & maintenance, didn’t seem to be too bothered saying we should report in post stay feedback form which never came through. Another example of number of occasions when staff said what we wanted to hear but no action took place.
There were couple of staff who were both friendly & went above & beyond. Most others seemed superficial sadly.
Location nice, food good, but above experience left bad taste in mouth.
