The WC would not flush on check-in to the room advised front desk, was offered and declined a room swap. WC was not fixed the next day. Advised front desk who declined to own the problem as they weren't staff the previous day. WC half fixed, would short flush but not long for solids. Front desk advised again, problem corrected by evening. WC was flushed 3 of the 5 days utilizing the waste bin filled from the shower.
Noisy room from downstairs party Friday and Saturday nights, to be fair it cutoff promptly at 2300, however, staff could advise guests on check-in and allow room reassignment at the guest's discretion.
Noisy room from next room neighbors due to vigorous activity for most of Friday night, followed by late night TV and 0600 TV each of the following mornings. With the hotel not booked out, room assignments should preferentially leave a room between guests especially if it is known that the walls aid noise transmission.
Room was serviced with clean towels and linens each day, and the bathroom cleaned, however, the room was not vacuumed at any point during our 5 day stay.
Other than the party and guest noise, the location is extremely peaceful, and we were able to have the windows open to enjoy the lovely fall air and the sound of the rain while sleeping. The cost was a good value.
If you're the late partyer, the early riser, or the type that will sleep through the last trumpet call for the dead, book confidently! Otherwise, book with care.
