Trust us, Collector is the sort of place that's worth taking some time off work for. You'll find it in New South Wales, a much-loved region that's full of incredible rural landscapes. Need we say more?

It's situated 50 kilometres to the northeast of Canberra, the national capital of Australia.

Put aside some time to witness a sensational sunset at Waddy Point, 50 kilometres to the southwest.

Make your way out of Collector and you'll be rewarded with some unique natural attractions. Just 45 kilometres away, Mount Ainslie is a popular place to take in some fresh air. Another sugggestion is Canberra and Region Visitors Centre, 50 kilometres away from Collector.

Slip on some lime green, white, yellow and blue and catch the Canberra Raiders in action at their home ground, Canberra Stadium. Located 50 kilometres away in Yass Valley Council, you can also go and cheer along the University of Canberra Brumbies.

Searching for more things to see and do? Head to Yass River, 30 kilometres west of Collector, for the Dionysus Winery and the Four Winds Vineyard. Alternatively, Bywong is 30 kilometres to the south, and it's here you'll find the Tulip Top Gardens and the Hillbrook Estate Wines.
