This property captures the essence of coastal living with its prime beachfront location, offering uninterrupted access to the sandy shores through a private pathway from your backyard, through the dunes and onto the beach. You can't get closer to the beach than this without being in the water at high tide.
The house features three tastefully decorated bedrooms: the master bedroom has a queen bed and opens up to the upstair balcony with ocean glimpses, creating an intimate escape. The second and third bedrooms are thoughtfully appointed to maximize comfort, one with a queen bed a large wardrobe and a 3 large bedroom with 2 single beds, retreat with lounge and TV as well as a wet bar. This 3rd bedroom also opens out to the upstairs balcony, making it perfect for families or groups.
There are also 2 additional beds located on the ground floor in the communal area's including a Balianese double bed/day bed in the music and rec room and a queen in the sunroom near the entrance. This gives this property a total of 6 individual beds.
The interior is complemented by a full kitchen equipped with modern appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave, ensuring all your culinary needs are met. The living room, adorned with a cozy fireplace, opens up to an expansive outdoor entertaining area. Here, you can enjoy the Bohemian charm of the backyard, complete with a fire pit for cooler evenings and a Bali hut for relaxing under the sun.
This property offers a very unique and interesting layout with a music inspired entertaining space with daybed, off the dining room, with piano and guitars provided. The upstairs bedroom with single beds also includes a lounge with TV and small bar. The upstairs bathroom is a 2 way bathroom accessed through either of the 2 queen rooms, while the downstairs bathroom is accessed via the rear balcony.
This property is built for relaxing and unwinding after a morning at the beach with a large spa bath with room for 2 in the upstairs bathroom, daybeds both inside and on the balconies and multiple chill out zones to really unwind. The outdoor hot shower is always a hit and a great way to wash off the salt and sand from the waves.
The rear yard is a large funky space set to the backdrop of the coastal rainforest and dunes, with multiple entertaining zones and some very unique features you'll find yourself here most of the time. We can guarantee you wont have found another space like this, providing you a truly one of a kind beach house experience that is a rare find in this day and age.
Sawtell Beach located directly in front of your accommodation is a popular surf beach with great waves and very popular for surfing and swimming so please bring your boards & beach towels with you. The Sawtell Surf Club is located just a short walk up the beach and has a great cafe for a morning coffee and breakfast in the sun. There is also patrolled swimming located directly in front of the surf club.
The main street of Sawtell is only a short walk from your accommodation. While a car can be handy to explore the other areas of Coffs Harbour you could also park up and not have to start it again until you leave with so many beaches, cafes and shops within walking distance.
Pets can be accommodated on request, but must be approved prior. There will be a small additional charge per pet. We do ask however that they not be allowed in the dunes or beach due to local restrictions to protect native flora and fauna.
Shellies on the Beach Big House is located right next door to the little house, large groups can book both places together, giving you a total of 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
