Just 13 kilometres away, you'll find plenty of things to see in Potrero. From Flamingo Beach to Conchal Beach, there's something to keep everyone entertained.

Bring the kids to GoSouth Adventures Costa Rica for a great day of family fun.

Think about taking some sandwiches so you can treat yourself to a leisurely bite by the water at Hermosa Bay Beach or Coco Beach.

Mother Nature's artwork is on show in multiple places around Coco. Just 35 kilometres away, Santa Rosa National Park is a great place to start. Parque Nacional Palo Verde sits 45 kilometres away and is another nice spot for some downtime.

You might like Haras del Mar Equestrian Center. It's a great place to visit if you find yourself nearby.

Be sure to go to other close-by attractions, such as Ocotal Beach and Rocio's Kitchen. You will find them 4 kilometres west in El Ocotal. Don't want to return the rental car just yet? Marina Papagayo and the Papagayo Golf and Country Club are in Playa Hermosa, 4 kilometres to the north of Coco.

Liberia is located 30 kilometres from Coco and is a vital part of the region. Surrounding sights include Church of La Ermita La Agonia, Liberia Parque Central and the Sabanero Statue. Still got some time to burn? Iglesia Inmaculada Concepción de María and the Museo de Guanacaste are also within reach.

A stay at The Palms At Coco Beach places you in the heart of Sardinal, a 1-minute drive from Coco Beach and 10 minutes from Ocotal Beach.
Great location relative to restaurants and the beach but very sketchy neighborhood. Room desperately in need of updating. No hair dryer, broken coffee maker, no coffee provided, only luke warm shower. Noisy due to entertainment in dining room. Staff kind but often inattentive.
