Not much that stands out. The rooms were absolutely disgusting. Wreaked of mold and mildew. Our clothes and suitcases are ruined because the smell that we are not able to get rid of. The hotel is beyond dated. The rooms feel like a prison cell. The matress was stained,, the pillows smelled, the linenes smelled. Could not relax at all due to the condition of rhe room

After reading all the reviews on this resort, my son and I still decided to book it. Our time in Costa Rica was meant to spend days of exploring the country with activities away from the resort, so we can get to know the people, and also have restful days that we can enjoy. The resort was very clean the rooms were clean and comfortable. All of the staff are extremely nice. The food was pretty good to us. We never tasted anything bad. They overcooked steak at the buffet was the worst part of the foods. They had tons of food options and theme nights. They had great entertainment at this resort. Besides the buffet, they have four restaurants. My only complaint about this resort is you cannot make reservations unless you want to go and wait in line at 5 PM for a return time, or you’re basically not going to get in. After staying there for eight days and the staff seeing us try, we were able to get some accommodations made to enjoy three of the restaurants. If you’re looking for a place to relax, have the drinks and not worry about the food, enjoy a beautiful beach that also has snorkeling, kayaks, and paddle boards to use and the waterpark; then stay here. We met the most amazing people as well and made our trip so much fun!

The staff was amazing, and the drinks were excellent. However, one downside was that the nightclub was closed, and by 11 p.m., everything shut down. We were informed that the nightclub will reopen at the end of October this year. Another disappointing aspect was that when we checked in, we were given a room with two beds instead of a king-size bed. After that, we were moved to a ground-floor room, which was quite noisy due to its proximity to the restaurants, and we encountered more insects there. Overall, we had a great time, and we plan to return.

The AC did not work for 2 days in the hotel , in our room never worked properly, food eatable but bland.
