Stunning, self contained 2 bedroom mud brick cottage close to Mt Hotham!

A delightful self contained 2 bedroom cottage located in a high country of between East Gippsland and Alpine Region Victoria Australia. This cottage can sleeps (4) and surrounded by acres of semi bush, the cottage is ideal for nature lovers, ice skiers ( only during winter season) bikers, cyclist and bush walkers or simply, just a get away from the busy City! It’s good for people who wants solitude and peace!

The property is approximately 20 mins drive from Dinner Plain, 25 mins drive to Mt Hotham and Approximately 15 minutes drive to the town of Omeo. This property has the real feel of country living, with nice fresh air and quite surrounding.
The cottage is equipped with fully functional kitchen for your daily cooking and even baking if you need too . It has big fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, sandwich press maker, bread maker, dishwasher, stove top and big electric oven and cooking utensils.

The cottage is small however it’s cozy for small family with two children ages 4 yrs old and up or for 4 adult people. It has everything you need away from home, except you bring your own food to cook. Basic condiments, salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc is provided. Some herbs in the garden you can use. Please don’t pull herbs or veggies. Use knife to cut veggies leaves and herbs so they can continue making new leaves and I don’t need to plant new veggies all the time. Enjoy your stay.

(Important) Please close windows when you check out to avoid bugs coming in. If ever you saw some bugs I supplied bug spray, or use vacuum if you see any creepy crawlers.
Also our accomodation has no beautiful landscaping or garden, it’s raw and Rustic, it’s just natural landscape of Nature. You are Surrounded with bush and state forest. We will try slowly do some gardening but being far away and with pandemic it’s so difficult to do anything at the moment. What I offer is only accomodation, Go out and explore the Alpine and maybe you can appreciate the Alpine region, the mountains and the countryside.
Also, please don’t wash white towels with coloured ones, I noticed some guest wash it and turn my towels bluish instead of whites.
Please bring home all your rubbish upon check out, or throw it at the tip of Omeo. No rubbish collectors in the area. Also, NO unlimited internet, No Online streaming and gaming. Turn off all your running apps as it chew up data even if you are not actively using it once it gets connected to Wifi! if you are bored, we have plenty of board games and card games, use it instead. Or you can purchase your own internet connection, just let me know and I can contact my our internet provider.
