Clean room!

The hotel has an older look in the hallways. Other than that, the staff was amazing, and the breakfast was great. They serve waffles, eggs, bacon, potatoes, muffins, yogurt, biscuits, bagels, milk, and some other things. The hotel was clean, and the room looks up to date! And the staff were amazing, and they were super friendly. The kitchen breakfast staff were just as great too!

Parking was easy. Did not feel safe however.

The shower door track had black mold. The bathroom smelled bad. The bathroom sink had lots of rust. This location is kind of off by itself. The main room was clean and comfortable.

The condition of the room itself was disappointing. The bathtub was peeling and bowed noticeably when stepped into. The bathroom ceiling appeared to be a patchwork repair job, and the walls throughout the room were in desperate need of fresh paint. The coffee maker did not work, the body wash dispenser was empty, and one of the pillowcases was stained (yellow). My room was on the second floor. The window opened fully but did not lock. Given that the hotel is located in a high-traffic area, this was particularly disturbing from a safety standpoint. Also, the windowsill was filthy. Even the breakfast was disappointing. Ironically, it appeared to be the same menu items served at the Lubbock location (which was great), but somehow the quality in Abilene was noticeably worse. Overall, I would give this hotel 2 stars.
