We had this place booked for the weekend but ended up cutting our losses and leaving less than 24 hours after we checked in. As soon as we entered our room we noticed that it was dirty. Surfaces were sticky and had food residue. Hair stuck to the sink and shower walls. Floors had dirt, crumbs, etc. as though they had not been swept or vacuumed in awhile. The walls are also paper thin so we heard everything going on both outside in the walkway and in neighboring rooms. Two doors down from us was a group that spent all morning yelling and arguing with one another and we could hear the entire ordeal even with white noise on in our room. The safety lock on the door was also broken clean off the door frame. We jammed a chair under our door handle just as a safety precaution, but we definitely had someone rattle the door handle early in the morning trying to get in. I don’t know if they just had the wrong room or if someone was doing something shady, but either way it was unnerving. The only positive comment I can offer is that the front desk staff were very polite. Otherwise, I have nothing good to say. I’m a pretty easygoing traveler with reasonable expectations for rooms in this price range, but I would never return to this place. There are better options in the area for about the same cost.
