Attractions and Hotels Near Choson

If you still have itchy feet, why not head out and see more of the South Gyeongsang region? Don't even think of going home without visiting a few of the region's incredible coastal plains and forests. Ruins and traditional villages are popular sights also worth a look around. Alternatively, have a crack at one or two popular regional pastimes like mountain climbing and hiking.

Don't shoot through before you've checked out the Geoje POW Camp and Geoje Okpo Daecheop Ginyeom Park in Geoje. The Geoje Tourist Hotel and Samsung Hotel Geoje are some of the long and short-stay options here. 45 kilometres to the southwest of Choson you'll also find Namhae, which is home to the Pension Manoa and Opera House Pension. Should you choose to stay in Namhae, make sure you visit Nabi Saengtae Park and the Boriam Temple.

Get a ride 90 kilometres north and you'll find yourself in Daegu, a regional centre with a population of 2,600,000. While you're in this neck of the woods, whip out your camera and get your tourist on at the Daegu Yangnyeongsi Museum of Oriental Medicine, Apsan Park and Dongsan Bowling Center. Daegu Cultural and Arts Hall History of Soil Hall and E-World are a few more which are sure to offer up some envy-inducing photo ops. There are a range of great hotels available to book in Daegu. Unless you're planning to spend a night on the floor of Gimhae Airport, it's probably a good idea to book some accommodation before you fly. The Hotel Paragon is not too far away, or you could always travel into Choson's centre. It's 55 kilometres away.
