This is a pretty special property. The views are incredible, the home is cozy and well-maintained, and the property is located just 5 minutes from downtown Tupper Lake and 25 minutes to Saranac Lake (we spent time in both)! I fished both full days we were there. I launched from the property with my fishing kayak one day. My wife used one of the provided kayaks one day. The second day I launched about 1.25 miles up the road at a DEC boat launch. We had a great time and I highly recommend.

Was not happy with the barking dog in the room next door, when we got out of bed or walked in our room their dog would bark. Also having the cleaning staff knock on our door before the posted check out time. The room was very clean & comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Our writers' group loved staying here for a week of relaxing, writing, and being together with friends. The perfect location for a getaway. Thanks for everything.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The location was good, 20 mins or less to Saranac, about 30 or so mins to Lake Placid mirror lake. The house was clean and kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Beds were comfortable, heating was more than adequate. The yard and lake access was fun. Snow was pretty much untouched and the kids loved sledding, playing with their trucks, walking on the frozen lake and trying to make their best snow angels. We had the whole lake to ourselves and it was great to see my kids play in snow. Sam was responsive as a host, there was an issue that popped up randomly with the water and I notified him via the app. He called me and connected me with the caretaker of the house and, the guy was on his way and fixed the issue. Definitely would stay here again whenever we come back to the area.

Picked this location for winter activities but winter never showed up. House is clean and has everything you need.

Couldn't have asked for anything better! This home is cozy, clean, and more than well-stocked with anything you may need. The owner kept good communication and was very responsive to any questions that we had. I would definitely recommend this home and will look to rent again if we plan another trip to Tupper Lake.
