It was the first Hilton which charged for using the gym, and limited time at the pool. Also, the parking discount for guest was ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Nice but noisy

The biggest issue was the noise. Stayed here on a Friday night and the noise from louder cars, motorcycles, people and sirens was excessive. Made it very difficult to sleep. We were up on the 11th floor so not that close to the street.

the property was further away from sites and public transit than I thought. the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable plus the train noises made it hard to sleep. i had to pay a resort fee for amenities i didn't want and didn't use.

No plug in’s/power outlets on one side of the bed. It was a three night stay…one night my friend and I were coming back from a concert during a heat advisory day. We had lots of bags and such, and we were looking a bit disheveled … there was an attendant by the elevator that asked to see our hotel keys (as if we were not really staying there) it was not only offensive, but a pain to stop and get it with all the things we were carrying. If this is a concern - then management should choose to put the key card scanners in the elevator instead of profiling guests at random. Not a good look, imo. I had made two reservations through Expedia that I asked to be merged through text, phone call, and at time of check in. This did not happen and resulted in our keys defaulting when we tried to get in our room. Frustrating. The location is great and the beds are comfortable, but I’ll never stay there again.

The customer service was AMAZING! Everyone was super nice and extremely helpful. Parking a little expensive but super easy to get to and get out of and the elevators were super easy to find and get up and down on. Super clean, and the secretary is on a whole other level of amazing and friendly! Highly highly recommend and definitely will stay at the Hilton Chicago again when I visit!

Overall experience was great! Hotel is in walking distance of restaurants, shopping and the beach. Parking situation isn’t ideal but if you use spot hero you can find affordable parking within walking distance

I discovered trash under the bed from the previous guest in our room when my cell phone rolled underneath. It was quite a bit of debris. When I contacted guest services, their tone was off-putting, and I wasn't pleased with how they managed my request. I specifically asked them to send someone to clean the room after I brought it to their attention.
