Nice location but way too expensive

They required a $100 per day deposit up front. They also added a resort fee per day per person. Plus hotel is old and needs renovation. Unable to regulate room temperature at all. Bathroom has no fan. Not enough towels, toilet paper or Kleenex.

The room was bit noisy at night with noise of trains nearby. They didn’t clean/service room one day but when asked quickly replenish coffees etc Exhaust fan didn’t work making the bathroom foggy.

Great location and amazing view of Lake Michigan just needs to be updated. Furniture was a bit uncomfortable in the room and needs a more modern touch. Overall good experience

The hotel was beautiful, clean, and a walkable distance from everywhere! The staff was very attentive and outgoing, so I really recommend this place and I plan to book here again in the future.

Really nice hotel room was good with a beautiful lake view. There is an Irish pub /restaurant in the hotel as well as a cafe bisto style coffee shop. Coffee shop was extortion . Ridiculous prices. Highlight of hotel was the pool spa . Seemed to have had recent make over. Nice pool and two hot tubs. But what made it was the staff. There was a gentleman I think Dalton was his name. He was absolutely fantastic and my kids are still talking about him. Hilton you have done a great job with customer service in this part. Dosn't get any better.

The bed was comfy, and the staff very nice in all areas. The self parking was quite expensive at 77 dollars a night. Valet was 88 dollars a night. The bar/lounge area was very comfortable with a fire in the fireplace. The internet was slow and kept disconnecting. I stayed at a Hampton Inn by Hilton before and after this stay and their internet was much faster and stayed connected.

Daaaaa HILTON

Built in 1925 with 3,000 guestrooms, the Hilton is DA Hilton. Plush entrance, great location in South Michigan Avenue so major sites are walking distance. Confy bed, need to upgrade pillows. Fridge, tablet and huge tv. Nice bathroom for two. Was in the 20th floor but no view; upgrade to view is worth it.
