At least the bedding and towels were clean. Room was too small to contain a double bed, and then one of you is clambering over the other to get in. No heating in the shower room and the towels, although clean, were well past their best and had holes in them. No option for breakfast. Definitely not worth £100 a night.

Staff seemed nice enough, but for £110 for one night the hotel was manky. The room smelled like an old people’s home, the carpet and interior were extremely dated, the ceiling had damp damaged, the bathroom smelled like it had been doused in cheap bleach and I’m not too sure the bed was even clean. I couldn’t have complained if it were a cheap room but it was way overpriced

On check-in we were required to hand over our driving licence which they photocopied. When we questioned this we were told it was for health and safety reasons and if we didn’t allow them to do this we couldn’t stay. There is no reason to do this and I worry about identity fraud…. Rooms were run down and dirty with filthy carpet, torn shower mat and ripped mattress. Photos don’t match the rooms. Would not recommend.
