I was expecting a better quality hotel considering it has Marriott in the name. The front desk staff and other staff were friendly. However, the rooms are by two noisy highways into the night, there was a used washcloth dried up in the shower, the glass shower door was off the track, towels were like sandpaper and the shower soap caused irritation. Breakfast was so horrible that we didn’t even eat there the second day. There were dry bagels with no cream cheese (asked the main desk), no fresh fruit, canned scrambled eggs, & bacon dripping with grease. The rest was carbs but (nothing fresh) except for one kind of yogurt, milk and a juice machine.
The elevator floors and walls were dirty and we watched an employee using a Mr. Clean white eraser with no water attempting to clean the walls and elevator door, basically smearing the dirt. The elevator floors were never mopped in the three days we were there.
We won’t be staying again and may not try another Staybridge again.
