Don't judge a hotel by the outside

Please do not judge a hotel by it's outside. The outside is a bit dated, however the room was newly remodeled with new paint and carpeting. The fridge was even brand new. There was NO crazy smells and the bed was ok. Pillows could have been newer but they WERE NOT horrible. (Im a pillow snob). The staff was VERY friendly, both check in and out. Breakfast was basic but at least they offered it. Very quiet and a positive was all the cameras of the entire property at the front desk. I felt very safe knowing that they were there. Overall my stay was great. I was by myself and didn't have an issue going to sleep. Great location. Literally right off of the exit. The only maybe downfall but NOT negative is the room was a joining room BUT the door padlocked.
