The bed linen and towels were clean, but our room was dusty and dirty. The hotel generally was unkempt and needs a lot of care, repair and deep cleaning. We raised cleanliness with reception. They were not able to clean our room, housekeeping had gone home for the day. They offered a complimentary breakfast, which was fine, but I’d rather have a clean room

The central location is excellent, let down by most nearby dining options closed on Monday. It’s clean and the bed’s comfortable, but the grandeur is fading.
