Just needed a room for one night. The room was fairly modest but so was the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't fancy but it was delicious and prepared as ordered. The hotel itself, while also modest was very beautiful. Extra points for the cute and friend cat! I would stay here again.

I thought it would be better

According to the information of this hotel I assumed it would be better, breakfast the first day was so basic, the rest of the days got a little better. In my daughter's room the last night water stared dripping from the air conditioner on her bed, so we had to change rooms, the room they got had a dirty bathroom. they apologized, and were very sorry for the inconvenience, but these accidents should not happen in a three star hotel. But I must say the location was very good.

Good hotel

Excellent location, very friendly staff, good service. Simple but great breakfast. Our only complaint was that the shower had very little water flow, we talked about that with the reception and they were going to check that.

The hotel was pretty much exactly what you see in the pictures and description—no surprises. The room and overall space are quite small, and the pool is tiny, more for dipping than swimming. That said, the location is ideal, close to everything we needed. The real standout was the staff—friendly, helpful, and genuinely the best part of the stay.

The staff were extremely helpful, especially Jessica and Milagro. They were very friendly and worked with our airport transportation to adjust our pickup time. Jessica provided numerous restaurant recommendations tailored to my preferences. Breakfast was fresh fruit and eggs perpared to order. Room was simple but comfortable and clean with an in room frig and AC! I felt safe, taken care of, and very comfortable staying here!

Lovely hotel with excellent staff

Excellent hotel within the walled city, and the staff is wonderful! I recommend booking one of the deluxe rooms with a balcony, definitely worth it in my opinion. Special thank you to Jessica for being so friendly and helpful during my stay, I will definitely book a room here again when I return later this year.

Location excellent. The staff were very good. Jessica on the front desk was fantastic and very helpful with information about Cartagena restaurants, things to do and general information. A minor flaw was that some parts of the facility needed a little updating.

Very cute colonial hotel. Doesn’t have all the modern amenities and rooms are a little cramped and can get stuffy, but that isn’t surprising for a historic building. Staff was wonderful and had excellent recommendations

The hotel is like an old England Castle absolutely gorgeous, the employees definitely go above and beyond to make you feel at home and completely satisfied. The big problem I found is if it rains even just a little bit the power goes off in the hotel and it happened for hours... If you know Cartagena you know it's very hot there and to be without air conditioning for hours is miserable. Also the hot water is not steady when you turn on the shower you're lucky to get 30 seconds of hot water don't expect anymore. Those are my only criticisms of this property.

Staff was wonder, the place is nice. However we stayed in the 3rd floor, and we had no water at night or in the morning. We had to go downstairs to let them know because the phone in the room was not working. BREAKFASTS WAS DELICIOUS. CAN YOU IMAGE TRYING TO TAKE A SHOWER OR USE THE TOILET AND NO WATER????. We had to wait until their tank got full.

If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. However, I found it extremely enjoyable. The people here were so nice and helpful! Always willing to help out or provide suggestions. They have a TV, mini fridge, and AC in the room which was nice. Breakfast options were good and fresh, the same everyday so if you are staying multiple days keep that in mind. The wifi is hit or miss.. sometimes we had to move around the room to get signal but not a big deal for us. The room is small but it has all you need so it did not really matter. Overall, I would recommend.
