Great Retro accommodation. Close to many things. First room I got was terrible with rising damp broken amenities. Friendly staff on site gave me another room which was better. But beware it is a dated motel close to everything?

The motel is aged but in good condition. Staff is very friendly given the fact that she has to work in both the reception on the ground floor and the restaurant on the second floor during breakfast time. Breakfast was great, foods are freshly cooked and served even approaching the close hour of 09:00. Plenty of parking space, which is precious right in the center of the city. Some reviews that the tile was peeling off in the bathroom, which we did not experience. However, as there is no ventilation on the roof, the paint is becoming bubbled. This is probably the only reason we only give it a four rather than a five.

Breakfast was simple but plentifully. Room needed some repairs but overall room was clean as well the bedding and towels. WiFi was bad as it failed and dropped out often. Gave it a miss after several fails. Location was very central and great if you like to walk to explore.

On arrival 3.oopm we were greated with friendly smiling person who checked our booking.After being told where our number were was told the heater had been turned on so room was pleasently warm on entering.As staffing was limiting reasturant menu was small but ok.Breakfast next morning was buffet style with great variety.Our stay was great .Beds in room were excellant Staff were excellant

Great Location. Whilst building is a little aged, the rooms were neat and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Good breakfast in the morning. Owners were magnificent. They accommodated our needs and made the stay very enjoyable.
