The Hotel is older and we were placed in a "access" room for handicapped people because we needed a walk-in shower. Overall the hotel felt older and dirty (stain carpet in the hall, several walls show signs of luggage damage. Overall experience in the breakfast area was weak - too difficult to fry an egg; and the food was rarely resupplied with complaining.

It was a trip to attend a family celebration and the hotel was a convenient location to stay. The only improvement is to replace the hooks for towels in bathrooms. They do not hold the towel effectively

As always the staff are friendly and helpful the location is amazing right in the centre of Canterbury rooms are clean and fresh, one note. I suggest that you park in the castle car park as this is at least £20 a night cheap cheaper
