Resort has one of the best views and the location was perfect. Rooms were great and staff was really helpful. Dinner was great in the restaurants with set courses, customizations and outstanding service but the lunch buffet quality could have been better. It was just fine. We struggled with good vegetarian dishes in the buffet. Another downside - Pools were not climate controlled or atleast wasn’t effective. Kids didn’t get in much in this trip (Jan). Anyways beach made up for it. Earlier, in an April visit, they had lot of fun in the pools and water park in the same property ( it was a Wyndham property then - Wyndham Altra).

There is an obvious attention to cleanliness to all aspects of the property - the rooms, the common areas and even the common toilets by the pool and beach area! Smells fresh and clean. I really enjoyed my stay. The service was top notch. Food was easily accessible and well made. The staff were all attentive, no single bad experience.

We loved the property with access to pools and kids friendly slides/activities. The beach and views were beautiful. We found it clean and felt safe! The only negative was the dining service. We found it difficult to eat at restaurants with some restaurants a 2.5 hour wait (which is not doable with small children). We ended up having to be ready by 4:30 to try to wait in line to eat at restaurants. Otherwise, a great stay!

The rooms were clean, and the staff was generally kind. However, the constant requests for 5-star reviews, felt overwhelming. The restaurants offered good food overall. Sunset was the best! Our only negative experience was at the Mexican restaurant, where the service felt unprofessional. We were on the waiting list for a party of nine, and after waiting for an hour, we were asked to sit at a table for eight, even though a suitable table for nine was available. Additionally, we were told that reservations could only be made if we ordered extra items from the menu at an additional cost, which was not included in the all-inclusive package.

Number 1…the beach and ocean are spectacular!! Go just for that alone and you will be in heaven! No seaweed, crystal clear blue water, and huge white sand beach for miles! Number 2…Our room and the whole resort are kept exceptionally clean. We had a master suite king that we upgraded to on arrival as I originally had booked deluxe junior suite ocean view double and when we seen the room we knew our 2 teens (19&15) would not be comfortable sleeping in tight quarters together. They gave us 50% off for the upgraded room and we were quite happy with our decision. It was away from the music and action, so quiet everyday. Still only steps from beach and main pool and restaurants. It is a small resort but has all you need. Very family oriented. Cabanas to rent by pool and beach. All the staff is absolutely amazing! We stayed over Christmas and new years and the hotel had special events for both nights. So Much fun! The staff do an incredible job of getting to know you and keeping people entertained. Some Evening shows were unique from other resorts we’ve been at which was a nice change. All the food from buffet to restaurants (no reservations), were delicious and flavourful. Lots of variety in buffet and they change it up each day! The hotel itself is older and has lots of cosmetic touch ups everywhere. It does need an uplift which I think is in the plans as a new Hyatt resort next door is being built and looks spectacular! Overall we have no complaints and would recommend!

The resort was dated but clean and well taken care of. The food was good and the staff was excellent. The night entertainment was bad. To management, a DJ with proper music for the crowd a couple of days a week would be nice. I felt most of the live entertainers was not bothered if the crowd was having fun or even listening. They just sang what they new and went home. Almost all of them cleared the dance floor. Other than that it was a good time.
