great hotel giving you a lot of history of the first settlers its like half hotel and half a lok back in history with each room having a story about a first settler
The location, rooms, food, amenities were fantastic. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a brilliant holiday by recommending tours, restaurants and places of interest that we would enjoy. A fabulous hotel not to be missed!

Well prepared for late arrivals. Highly organised. I left a pair of ear rings - was contacted and arrangements made for them to be returned.
Well set up character full with the red doors etc
Room was nice and clean, staff very friendly. Only thing I would suggest is putting the mini bar items back in the fridge is you want a drink or snack during your stay. Otherwise very nice.
Great location and enjoyed the use of the pool and sauna.
Really needs updating, we were expecting to be in the tower accommodation with a balcony

Great for long weekend with teenagers. Roomy family room, gym, happy hour, friendly staff
If you've ever scanned your mates' social media and thought your life was pretty vanilla, get some payback with a stay in Cambridge. Situated 12 kilometres from the centre of Hobart, it's a brilliant place to base yourself while discovering Tasmania's capital.
If you're keen to see some sensational sights, Hobart delivers the goods. Start your exploring at leading attractions like Mount Nelson Lookout, theatre Royal and St. David's Cathedral.
Have a yarn with a local winemaker at Coal Valley Vineyard. Don't forget to check for wine tasting sessions! If you're keen to crash someplace nearby, check out the Riversdale Estate Cottages. A trip to Grote Reber Museum is an excellent activity when you are at a loose end. For this attraction, grab your bags and book yourself into the Cornwall Cottage.
The Travelodge Hotel Hobart Airport is where to book if you don't mind splashing a few more dollars. Go on, treat yourself (we won't tell anyone).
Why not grab the squad and discuss the first evening of your well-deserved holiday over a coffee at Smiths Speciality Pies? It's not too far away, and there's plenty of sweet treats to keep your energy levels up. Trust us, you're gonna need some decent tucker after all that sightseeing. Luckily, Coal Valley Vineyard and Restaurant has a tasty menu which will really fill you up! If the feast has left you feeling like a beer, Last Rites Brewery is just a stone's throw away. It's an awesome place to grab a stool and mingle with the locals!
Nothing's better than stepping off the plane into a new, wild and unfamiliar destination. Hotels, flights, experiences, rental cars — you name it, we can make it happen!
