The hotel was nice, the room a little lacking. It's clearly old and in particular, the tile work was repaired with a very messy caulk job, carpet worn and stained. We didn't spend much time in the room so not a big deal but kind of a let down when we first entered.

The breakfast was great. I enjoyed the salmon eggs Benedict and , a rarity, an excellent cup of tea. We did experience inadequate water temperature for bathing at night. A storm knocked out the elevators on the day of our departure so we were delayed because we did not want to carry our luggage down 11 floors. We were eventually rescued by staff who took us down in the service elevator.
