Front desk and luggage people were great, very helpful. Construction noise at 8:00 Saturday morning was a bit annoying. Wasn't our first stay at the Netherland and won't be our last.

Showers was a big thing, took 10 mins of water running to get any hot water, I stayed for 2 nights and no housekeeping came to clean or refill towels. Every hotel I’ve ever been to, breakfast was always free with your stay. Not this place:( just expensive for what it was.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. There are a total of 6 elevators for 30 floors that you have to wait 30 minutes for each time you need to go somewhere. When we stayed the hotel was having issues with key cards not working- so we had to be let into our room by a worker every. Single. Time. When I spoke to the front desk about the situation, they proceeded to be extremely rude and act as if I were inconveniencing THEM. I paid $150 to stay for one single night and it was a horrid experience. Save your money and go somewhere else!

The netherland plaza is an amazing vintage art deco hotel from the golden age ..lobby and public spaces are incredible ..but the rooms and furnishings are very very old. They are tidy ...but the carpets are dirty and the in room lighting is terrible amd makes the rooms look very dinghy

I arrived at this Hilton Hotel and it was like stepping back in time. The lobby and bar is like a scene from a gangstar film with a piano bar and cocktails flowing (without the smoke). Great crowd and food from the 1931 bar. The hotel looks like it has all its original fittings, which is pleasant in this day and age. The room was a decent size with a nice bed and a great bathroom but a think there may have been some bed bugs. If you're in town to watch the Bengals, its only a short walk to the stadium or you might want to pretend your in London and visit the river with its various English inspired bridges. Or maybe you will be like me, walk and then take in a Graters ice cream at the Fountain Square. The hotel was PACKED, so that says something.

Our weekend at the hotel was amazing! From the food at the restaurant to the accomodating staff. The room was very clean and the suite was just what we needed. And a view of the Ohio river topped it off!

Difficult to find valet entrance & get bags to front desk. Took over an hour after check in to get sheets for pull out couch. Ran out of toilet paper in both bathrooms & ran out of shower soap in 1 bathroom. (2 night stay) Street & people noise much of the night. Interesting hotel but do not recommend for the price.
