My stay at the Kingston Theatre Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, earning it a well-deserved five stars! This charming hotel captures everything a traveler could want, blending classic hospitality with modern comforts. The location is absolutely perfect – right in the heart of Kingston, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, you couldn’t ask for a better spot. A huge bonus is the free parking, which is a rare and welcome perk that made our stay stress-free from the moment we arrived. The staff are the heart and soul of this hotel. Super friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making your stay memorable, they greeted us with warmth and went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. It’s the kind of service that reminds you how hotels used to be – and should be! The rooms are simply stunning. Spacious, beautifully appointed, and immaculately clean, they offer a level of comfort that feels indulgent. Hotel is a bit run down in need of some works. Water pressure in the shower non existent. The bed was not comfy, the room overall was large and clean, the breakfast quite good and cooked to order. Very very noisy as walls are paper thin and some rooms overlook the rubbish bins and the rubbish collection happens very early in the morning.

Fantastic hotel. Nice to visit a hotel with the personal touch rather than a large chain. Large rooms and so handy for when going to the theatre. Good choice at breakfast. I will definitely return and try the theatre dinner and room package next time.

So convenient for visiting Hull New Theatre. Parking permit included so no worries re parking. 50m from theatre. Staff so friendly, food very hot and tasty. Would stay there again.

Grand old hotel
