Welcome to our slice of heaven, located on the edge of world heritage listed Broken Head National Park and just one minute walk down a private track to glorious Broken Head beach!
The beach front house is located in the exclusive and secure Pavilions Enclave. The lawns and gardens front directly to the National park rainforest and the beach. This exclusive gated enclave offers a peaceful and safe environment for your personal indulgence. It is situated at Broken Head, at the southern end of the beach stretching from the Byron Bay Light House to Broken Head headland. A short five minute drive takes you to all the best eateries and bars Byron has to offer. Alternatively 10 to 15 mins to the eclectic and always interesting towns of Bangalow and Lennox Head.
Stylishly appointed with a refined coastal vibe, guests are immersed in the luxury and beauty of beachfront holidaying. The fully-equipped kitchen with expansive island bench and seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living makes entertaining a breeze - the perfect spot to create cherished memories with loved ones.
The Beach House has 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms -
** Master suite is a spacious parents retreat with king bed, work station, ensuite with free-standing bath, and private outdoor daybed to retreat in quiet seclusion.
** Second bedroom has a king bed and tranquil outlook to private daybed overlooking lush gardens.
** Third bedroom has two long singles that can be made into one king (king must be requested at time of booking, additional charge applies).
After a full day of beach activity and exploring, the family can retreat to the privacy and convenience of your private heated mineral plunge pool, settle in with a glass of wine and watch the kiddies swim in the pool and play in the yard. The pool is connected to the large entertaining deck leading from the open plan kitchen/dining/lounge. Please note for guests comfort the pool is not heated during the warmer spring/summer months, the pool is heated April to October.
The expansive lawn and lush tropical gardens are a paradise in their own right, providing a private oasis for outdoor activities and tranquil escapes amidst nature`s beauty.
Pet-friendly to ensure your furry companions revel in the vacation experience too! Small well-behaved dogs are considered and the property is fully fenced for their safety. The nearest dog beach is five minutes drive away at Suffolk Park. Broken Head is a National Park, no dogs are allowed in the National Park or on Broken Head beach. Pets must be authorised by management prior to check in, a $75 pet fee and T&C`s apply.
The Beach House has a sister property right next-door - our luxury one bedroom fully self-contained studio `The Bungalow`. The two properties can be interconnected via a private gate to enable uninterrupted private access. Combining the two properties is a favourite for families holidaying with grandparents.
The Beach House is fully wheelchair friendly with ramps around the house and a disabled bathroom.
Things To Do:
• Swim, surf or kayaking on the beautiful Broken Head Beach 1 minute walk down a private sand-path.
• Nature walks throughout the World Heritage listed rainforest, beginning at your doorstep
• Take a dip at the stunning secluded back beaches
• Take an leisurely 15 minute walk along the beachfront to Suffolk Park`s cafes, restaurants, supermarket & bakery.
• Take a beach walk towards the Byron Bay Lighthouse to Tallows Beach.
• Take a dip in the all natural rejuvenating tea-tree lake, please respect the cultural significance of the Ti-Tree Lake to the local Bundjalung women.
** Please respect that Broken Head beach is a dog free beach - the dog-friendly section of the beach is accessible from Suffolk Park

An area known for its natural beauty and abundant wildlife, Broken Head Nature Reserve has a magnificent main beach and headland, many hidden beaches, picnic areas and walking tracks and a sacred tea tree lake steeped in aboriginal cultural heritage.

Broken Head is 7km`s from Byron central and takes approximately 10minutes by car. A glorious beach bike ride will take you all the way into town, it takes approximately 60 minutes return depending on tide and wind.
The Ballina/Byron Gateway Domestic Airport is a 30 minute drive south of Byron Bay, Gold Coast Domestic/International Airport is a 60 minute drive to the north. Brisbane International Airport is two hours north. Regular shuttle bus services are available door to door to and from airports.
Booking Information
• Group Restrictions - maximum of 6 adults at the property unless otherwise approved directly with Byron Beach Retreats.
• Strict noise policy and no parties permitted - fees and eviction can apply for security call-outs. See terms and conditions for further information.
• No commercial activities or events permitted including but not limited to hens/bucks events, engagements or weddings.
• Intimate events, photo/video shoots may be arranged directly with Byron Beach Retreats. Additional fees and T&C’s apply.
• No Schoolies or school-leavers permitted.
• No smoking inside the property.
* Pets are considered but must be authorised by Management prior to check in. It is the pet owners responsibility to remove all pet waste from the property prior to departure. If extra cleaning, waste removal, or maintenance is required as a result of the pet, additional fees will be deducted from the bond and is not negotiable. Broken Head is a National Park, no dogs are allowed anywhere in the National Park or on Broken Head beach.
• We reserve the right to cancel any bookings made that do not comply with these conditions. Breaches of these conditions during your stay may result in immediate termination without refund of rent or bond.
** SMALL DOGS are considered by management and must be authorised prior to check in.
- Furniture etiquette - If you like to have your dog in the house with you that is no problem as long as they are fully house trained and not allowed on the furniture.
- Pets to be confined to the immediate property boundary & not permitted to roam freely.
- As a responsible pet own please note and respect that Broken Head beach is not pet-friendly, the nearest dog-friendly leash-free beach is a couple of minutes drive away at Suffolk Park. Location link in Pet guidebook
- Broken Head is a National Park, no dogs are allowed anywhere in the National Park or on Broken Head beach.
- All pet waste must be removed from the property prior to departure.
- If extra cleaning, waste removal, or maintenance is required as a result of the pet, additional fees will be deducted from the bond and is not negotiable.
** PARTIES and FUNCTIONS are strictly prohibited. Breach of this condition may result in immediate termination and eviction without refund and extra charges for security, cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc.
** NOISE RESTRICTIONS - Guests must consider our neighbours and abide by local council noise restrictions that are in place from 9pm.
** DISTURBANCE TO OUR NEIGHBOURS, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extra charges may be made for security and other expenses.
** NOMINATED GUESTS ONLY and agreed in the Booking may stay in the Property over night. If any other guests stay extra charges will apply and/or the agreement may be terminated without refund and guests vacated from the premises.
** SECURITY - if security is required to attend the Property due to noise complaints the security call out fee of approximately $250 will be deducted from the security bond, second noise complaint can mean loss of full bond and being asked to vacate the Property immediately.
** CLEANING - the Property must be left as it was found to avoid extra cleaning charges. Extra cleaning charges may be incurred for, but not limited to, the cleaning of dirty dishes, BBQ cleaning, washing machine, dishwasher, emptying the fridge, removal of excessive rubbish and excess sand etc.
