Much better and bigger showers than most hotels. Free breakfast was fantastic. Appreciated having a microwave. Keycard always worked. Some hotels dont. Incredibly nice and friendly staff.

Wifi dropped out, went to use table lamp didn't work, in morning went to use hair dryer didn't work. Of course they would have changed my room, but at the time I was in the middle of things and it wasn't practical to do so. Receptionist dealt with these issues in morning like a champ, and didn't fob me off. Will return. Hopefully housekeeping will check stuff properly (it's part of their job after all). They are a really nice hotel staff wise, but can drop the ball from time to time. Breakfast has got better as they actually remember to dish out the vegetables sausages that are pre ordered the night before. I did naff when I saw someone set toaster on fire by toasting a croissant. They obviously hadn't stayed before - the croissants used to be on the warm plate side - and well warm and quite nice. Now they cook them all early put them on cold side and they are like cold lumps of bread. I'm sure a group of French visitors would actually riot about the state of the croissants. It's not hard to sort these daft issues and I keep hoping they are really going to get it together. But the car park next door is £1.50 for 24hrs and rooms are clean and decent and cheap. If they sort everything, I gies they'd be rammed all the time so careful what I wish for I reckon .......

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Bradford City Centre and had a mixed experience. The staff were helpful and quickly replaced our room after I fell due to a broken bed in the original one, which I appreciated. However, the incident was quite unpleasant and highlighted the need for better room maintenance. The hotel itself feels quite old and tired, especially the furnishings. The beds are in serious need of upgrading — not very comfortable and, in our case, even unsafe. The building could definitely benefit from some refurbishment to meet the standard expected from a brand like IHG. Another issue was that the property was difficult to find, especially for first-time visitors. Better signage or clearer directions would really help. Overall, decent service and a convenient location, but the facilities need attention. Hopefully, improvements will be made in the near future.

Location is great for Bradford and the railway station for reaching Leeds. Parking close by for £3.50 for 24 hours. Staff were great and the room a good size for a family if 4. The bed and sofa bed were ok could could be more comfortable. Only disappointing thing was breakfast. Really poor sausages, apple juice tasted like cordial with loads of added sugar and the overall range was a bit limited. Felt like the whole stay was good value but they cheapest out with breakfast. Would stay again
