FANTASTIC!

We just loved this place…everything about it! Quiet, but close to town center with a beautiful pool! Plenty of room, fully equipped kitchen, spotless. Caroline was easily communicating. We will definitely be back!

A rare gem.

The house is an ideal base for exploring Vaison-la-Romaine and the region - it was clean, comfortable, well-kitted out and very suitable for a family with young children; for example child-locks on the swimming pool gates was typical of the attention detail at the house. The town centre was a convenient 10-15 minutes walk with plenty of cafes and restaurants for when cooking became a chore. The weekly farmer’s market is very poplar and a great source of local produce. Exploring the region with its prehistoric caves, Roman sites, outlying medieval villages and castles, capped with trips to wine estates(!) proved well beyond the limitation of a single holiday!! For the fitter in the family, cycling all three routes up Mount Ventoux earned bragging rights to an HC Tour-de-France leg. The reason for the one lost star rating for the listing arose from an initial bit of confusion over the 4th bedroom in the English website’s translation of the original French website. This was rapidly and generously resolved by the host immediately on our arrival and didn’t have any impact on the holiday. Overall, Les P’tites Pommes proved to be a terrific find that made the holiday - a bit of a gem really. A big thank you to David and Caroline.

Highly recommended

We cannot flaw this property. Clean, comfortable, great location, a clean and safe (for young children) pool area, fully equipped kitchen and incredibly responsive owners. The property is a short walk to the centre of the village where there are a great array of shops, restaurants, and a welcoming community. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at this property. We visit the region every year and for the first time we’ve found a property we’d seriously consider staying at again. We highly recommend staying at this property. Thank you David, Caroline and your family members for taking care of us.

Lovely stay in Vaison

We very much enjoyed our two weeks at Les Petites Pommes. It was nicer than the pictures showed, just right for our family of 5. The pool was very nice. It was about a 15 minute walk into the downtown area. Kitchen was well-equipped, except for a shortage of knives, not uncommon in rental homes. Merci pour le vin et les olives!

A Charming House in a Calm and Attractive Neighborhood

Everything about this house was excellent! We were greeted by the delightful owner who gave us a tour of the property. The house was so well-equipped and modern...the extra large kitchen and eating area gave us lots of room, and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals or snacks. The bedrooms were well laid-out with plenty of room for our things, and the bedrooms and bathrooms had lovely linens. The house is a short walk (15 min) into the central part of Vaison, so we were able to purchase fresh baguettes and croissants for breakfast every day, and the weekly market is outstanding. It was quite cool when we were there (Oct. 7-14), so we didn't use the pretty pool, but the patio was a nice place to enjoy the sun. The town of Vaison is a terrific historical city with Roman ruins and a medieval castle on the hillside. A must-visit!

Lovely in every way

Overall an excellent experience throughout. The host communicated with us well before our arrival when we were met in person to review the property, as well as coming to see us before we left. The property is wonderful, clean, and well maintained and situated. The pool was clean and serviced weekly. Well appointed kitchen and tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. We hope to return again soon :-)

Geweldig. Prachtig huis. Goede locatie. Heel veel positieve dingen.Maar toch ook wat opmerkingen. We waren met 8 personen, 6 in het huis en 2 in de studio. Prima de meiden vonden het heerlijk hun eigen plekje. Er staat een prachtige tafel buiten maar daar kun je niet fatsoenlijk met 8 personen aan zitten.De stoelen zowel buiten als binnen zitten echt slecht. Er was geen bestek voor 8 personen. Er waren geen 8 mokken. Ik vind dat er zeker 16 van alles mag zijn.3 ligbedden is ook een beetje weinig. Verder alles top.

Haus in Vaison-la-Romaine

Wir waren mit 6 Erwachsenen (Senioren) zwei Wochen im Haus. Uns hat die geschmackvolle, kreative Gestaltung und Einrichtung sehr gut gefallen, so dass wir uns sofort sehr wohl fühlten. Der Pool wird gut gepflegt und es war sehr angenehm, ihn bei den hohen Außentemperaturen zu nutzen. Auch in praktischer Hinsicht ist das Haus bestens eingerichtet: Küche, Bäder, Wohn- und Schlafzimmer. Wir sind dem Besitzer-Ehepaar des Hauses sehr dankbar für ihren freundlichen Empfang, die große Hilfsbereitschaft und ihr Verständnis für unsere Anliegen. Wenn es möglich ist, würden wir sehr gerne einmal wiederkommen - und sind immer noch begeistert von unseren Ferien in diesem Haus mit seiner wunderschönen Umgebung.

Location nickel !

Belle location, fonctionnelle, tout confort.... avec sa belle piscine, fidèle à l'annonce. La maison se situe dans une impasse, donc calme garanti ! Propriétaire accueillante, et bonne conseillère pour toute ballade, sorties restaurant ou lieux pour acheter des spécialités régionales. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés ! Nous reviendrons à l'occasion de nouvelles vacances dans cette region, c'est certain. Merci encore à Caroline.

Super séjour au Les P'tites Pommes

Le gite est conforme aux descriptions et il est très bien équipé avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un excellent séjours. L’accueil et la disponibilité des hôtes sont parfaits et disponibles si besoin et pleins de petites conseils et d'excellentes adresses locales. De bonnes idées également pour découvrir la région. Avantage également du gite P'tites Pommes c'est qu'il est proche du centre de Vaison La Romaine à pied, très facile d'allez faire le marché en ville et profiter des super commences. De plus le gite étant dans une impasse, il y a aucun dérangement des bruits de la rue/ville. C'est extrêmement tranquille et calme. Excellent gîte
