Location to the town centre and beach was good. Car parking was good. Bar was good. Staff very friendly. Cost for 2 people for 3 nights reasonable. Swimming pool and pool table were good. Room was small for a double bed room, very small bathroom as door only opened half way before hitting the bed. WiFi not great in the room. Bedding not changed for 3 day stay as pillow case was dirty. TV very small.

The hotel itself is in a good location close to the beach and amenities. Service from staff was great! Had no issue with parking either. However the hotel itself was very poor quality, this may have only been in some rooms as I did see another room whilst the door was left open for cleaning and it looked decent. Our room on the other hand was run down, miserable looking and outdated with a broken bath panel, condensed windows and a leak coming from the property above. You can also hear eveyone opening and closing their doors and having conversations as the walls are thin, someone’s phone alarm was going off for three hours it was so loud I was convinced it was coming from our room. Wouldn’t choose to stay again.

We stayed at the Laguna Hotel in Bournemouth and have mixed feelings about my experience. On the positive side, the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Their friendliness was definitely the highlight of my stay. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. I lost count of the hairs I found. While tea and coffee were provided in the room, the kettle had an unpleasant smell, which put me off using it. To top it off, we even found a slug in the toilet area. Overall, while the service was great, the room conditions really need attention.

I don’t have any words to say, room condition was terrible, hidden dirt was back of the bedding, bathroom and room location so near also very small. Very unhygienic and damp condition. I normally don’t say or give my opinion but after staying there I would suggest to stay way from this hotel ( can not called a hotel not even guest house) that’s my opinion. Might extract you with costing side but still I would void for all the time.

We only stayed here for 1 night because we travelled up to collect our daughter from uni. Before I write this I'd like to say I have never written a bad review before. The place was majority clean except for smaller details. One of the towels had chocolate smudge marks on it, the mirror was so streaky with dirt you could tell it had not been wiped down. (You know the type of streaks you can physically see from all angles and could draw on it.) The pillows were so heavy and I'm not exaggerating they felt like you were lifting a small weight. The beds were really uncomfortable too. The place is meant to have quiet time after 11pm but I don't think this is a rule they truly expect guests/staff to follow. We didn't sleep at all, all night. Some things then I guess is kind of out of their control, floor boards of the rooms above and around us are really bad, after not sleeping at all the people above us were walking around at 5am but it sounded like they were running around, we genuinely thought they were going to come through the ceiling no exaggeration (again). The taps were really bad too, underneath the build up of dirt and limescale is bad. The electricity is awful charged my which was on 13% and only went up to 17 by the morning. Parking is ridiculous for such a big place this needs to be tackled, on arrival there was zero spaces when we called for the reception for help she came out and advised me I could either park in a completely different building or on a grass verge.
Bare in mind that curb gets bigger until there is a significant drop

It was very noisy until the early hours with people arguing outside in foreign language. Plus constantly banging doors when entering the annex building. The room was perfectly clean and ok for a quick overnight stay . Towels very white & soft . Just a noise issue sadly.

Although the staff were great and the rooms were clean, everything felt very tired and dated. Shower poles etc were rusting and the swimming area especially didnt reflect my expectations after the photos I'd seen. The staff members were lovely though and very helpful.

Not for me

The sheets look tobacco stained, the carpet is dreadful, and it has all gone far beyond dated. You can walk to the beach if you have a mind to at least. I didn't use the pool, so I can't comment, but sadly I would not stay here again. The walls are very thin, and the bed was dreadfully uncomfortable, so sleep was almost nonexistent. The staff were friendly, though.

What l liked about our experience is the staff ,breakfast and that it is located where you are able to access almost everything. What l disliked is the noise. They must put extra effort in cleaning their premises eg rooms ,pool etc But general experience was Ok

My bed mattress was not great as rather uncomfortable. The floorboards under the carpet were very creaky especially between the room and the en-suite! I could tell that the occupant upstairs had the exact same issue and this was pretty noisy when they walked around that area! The hotel is very near a dual carriageway so if you open the windows on that side the traffic is loud.i used earplugs and would suggest visitors bring some too. The breakfast was ok but they do tend to bring the toast with drinks before the cooked part so that it’s cold unless you want to eat it straight away. The waiters and waitresses are great and very friendly. The hotel staff are very efficient and they run a good business.
