Difficult to say much as I was only there for one night.
I booked the hotel as it has a lift as my husband needs it. I could see it was quite dated but looked clean. We arrived to find that we weren't even in the main building ( didn't know there was other buildings). We were put in a second floor room with no lift but stairs. Obviously my husband struggles with stairs. The room was awful. I was very annoyed at the fact that there was no shower, just a bath. The hotel should have made us aware of this. I went to run a bath for my grandson and the water was running brown. The cold tap on the sink didn't even work. The beds are very old and uncomfortable. It was like stepping back in time in my grandparents house when I was a child! Do not book this hotel!

The rooms in this hotel are very basic, but were pretty clean. Its in a very convenient location, took us around 15 mins to walk to the International centre & the parking was handy. There's no plug sockets by the beds, no hairdryer or fan in the hot weather. The shower was awful, only a small amount of water came out of the shower head, the rest came pouring out of the tap even with the knob pulled all the way up. I didnt find the beds or pillows very comfortable & there was lots of doors banging & outside noise in the morning as we were near the service area. Unfortunately I wouldn't stay here again.
For a hotel close to town with everything to use was brilliant i would definitely recommend using the hotel for short breaks..

Staff were all really lovely rooms smelt damp and in need of update. Bed and pillows rock hard, hairs in and on top of bed that was not mine. In need of new bedding too. With a bit of update and deep clean could be a lovely place.

When you walk into this hotel you feel as if you have entered a time warp, the hotel is in need of updating stuck in the 80’s, the corridors are single file only. We could walk out of our door and touch the other rooms door without having our arms fully stretched. No air conditioning at all. The female waiting staff wear black tunics with white frilly over aprons very amusing.
The pool looks way bigger in the advertising pictures for their website. We had an over the bath shower running from the taps, great power but the water would back out if the taps and run along the boxing in and down the side of the bath onto the floor, the hot and cold taps are fitted around the wrong way would cause trouble if you have trouble seeing. The staff we had dealing with were amazing very friendly. Especially Molly and Chloe we can’t thank them enough for their customer service.

rooms and carpets looked dated smallest bathroom i have ever seen but large rooms pool could do with a good clean radiators rusty
Good location, free parking.
Made up of main building and several annexes. Room we were originally allocated in one annexe was very dated, dirty bedding, no shower, bathroom door wouldn’t close. Moved to main block, room better but still basic
Reception helpful on arrival and responding to questions about walking to coast. Single bed was very comfortable. Basic room but shower and amenities good. Didnt use the pool but looked great. Bar and outside space relaxing after a very hot day.

Sink was not in bathroom, it was in the other side of the room. Room was close to another room and could hear the other rooms bathroom visits through the night. Room was was chesp costing though and served purpose, had WiFi, and decent spaced car park. I’ve stayed here 3 times as close to places I visit work, previous rooms around complex have been nicer

The property is a £10 taxi ride from the railway station. Lots of parking for cars although not enough when the hotel is full. The hotel is adjacent to a raised dual carriageway which is very noisy especially at night and the emergency services use their sirens frequently including throughout the night. The Laguna operates a bus fleet of 15 coaches which share the car park and are noisy from 7.00am.My room without AC meant windows had to be opened which made the traffic noise worse. The bedroom was adequate with a 17 inch tv stuck in a corner which couldn't be viewed lying on the bed. The beds were soft and uncomfortable leading to morning back ache. There is no excuse in 2025 for not having a decent firm mattress. The small bathroom was adequate and the shower hot but it certainly wasn't a power shower. The grounds were delightful and well maintained and with metal seats. There was a tiny games room with table tennis and a pool table. The swimming pool was one of the warmest i have used in over 50 years of travel. You do have to share it with children having lessons at certain times. The pool does not look like the picture on the website which i suspect is not new. The hotel offers a breakfast for £9.50 in a smart dining room. I didn't partake as i prefer to brunch. Breakfast in town however is at least 50% more expensive apart from wetherspoons. The hotel is 5 minutes from the lovely gardens which lead to a square with eateries and beach etc. I rate Laguna 2*plus. Tired.
Hotel is cleanish, however it is old, run down and tatty. Has the feel of a care home. The rooms are extremely basic. Pool was clean (after a complaint was made) the hot tub was filthy and had lots of broken parts, the pool area is also very run down. Not sure if the hotel was also being used for temporary accommodation??? After spending an hour in the pool with our son we packed up and left.
