We arrived the tv in the room didn’t work we were told it was due to a storm but later found out it was the control box. That was it left to our own devices no sorry we were told free drinks were offered but we didn’t receive anything. At breakfast there wasn’t enough room so again left to our own devices to find seating in the cold bar. We were asked at breakfast if the room needed service or a drink we said service but got neither. All in all the staff could do better.

Lovely stay friendly staff excellent food and amenities

The stay here was bought for us as a gift. It was such a thoughtful gift as we had 2 wonderful days / nights in the beautiful village of Helmsley. The heated pool was a real delight as was the use of the spa facilities.

Pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Room spacious. Comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities. Generally clean. Although some stains on carpet.

Beautiful period property with tall ceilings and all the usual lovely period features. Friendly, helpful staff. Hearty breakfast buffet every morning and evening meals were also very tasty. Stayed in an Executive Room which was very spacious, warm and well kitted out. Biscuits, coffee bags, tea and hot chocolate plus bottle wated provided in the rooms. Fast and efficient check-in and check-out. Would be very pleased to stay again if in the area. Thank you.
