A hidden gem, nested on a bay of bliss and tranquility. A delightful contrast to the chaotic overcrowded beach scenes of tourists. This classy European styled retreat was a standout romantic retreat !

Wonderful hotel. The most spectacular views. Rooms were great, free breakfast was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free transport to Dmall was very helpful. I wish they would invest in golf carts to get guests around. Lots of hills, and stairs. It was alittle harder for the elderly family with us. But I would definitely stay again.

Probably one of our best parts of our vacations was staying at this resort. The staff was caring and hospitable as well as the servers for the included breakfast. The resort was away from all the crazy with just a short walk into town. Overall this was a great spot and would do it again and recommend to everyone.

Spacious room, delicious breakfast, amazing view, quiet area, clean/ big swimming pool. Cons would be internet was down during my stay due to weather so can't knock the Hotel for it and Hotel is a little far from the white beach, but the Hotel does provide free shuttle at different times of the day.

Brilliant stay at Monacao

Great stay at Monacao - very nice large rooms & brilliant balcony looking over bay. The hotel staff were incredible and couldn’t do enough for you to make stay great. Hopefully I can come back again in the future, highly reccomend

The owner was awesome and the duty manager didn’t listen to me so I had to speak to the owner. Laundry was was 80 pesos a shirt and they do by the piece only so it would most likely cost me 5k or more to do our laundry. One order of rice was 80 pesos wow. The place and scenery was exceptional but no private like advertised!

Nothing to do near the hotel. Not safe to walk off the property. Hotel itself is very nice though the food and drink choices are very limited.

The shuttle from the airport was expensive when compared to other resorts. Also, there free shuttle to D Mall was extremely limited hours, 11am to 5pm. Whereas, Resorts like the Aqua have free shuttle running from 8am to 10pm. While it’s a nice quiet, beautiful place, it’s limited. It would be less of a hassle if I didn’t have to deal with trike drivers after shuttle hours that like to try to overcharge.

Was I bit away from the main town which makes it super quiet free shuttles till 5 but only 200-250 peso tuk tuk trip to main area in station 2. Staff was great and property was beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing property with beautiful views and friendly staff. Very isolated form everything so personal transportation a must as the shuttle service is not convenient. Sits high on a cliff overlooking the water which means. Lots of steps to get to main road at property entrance.

We stayed 3 nights in 2 bd grand Monaco suite. It’s a little outdated but the rooms are big and have all the amenities of home and the balcony views are awesome and huge and wonderful to just chill. The staff are excellent. The pool and surrounding area is great. Away from the hustle and bustle of white beach, I personally loved the quiet. Keep up the good work
