It lies 480 kilometres to the east of Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.

Travel 25 kilometres to the north and you'll stumble upon Ubon Ratchathani. It's popular for some excellent sights, including the Wat Ban Na Muang and the Wat Thung Sri Maueng.

Sisaket sits 45 kilometres from Bon and is a vital part of the local area. Nearby attractions include 80th Chaloem Phrakiat Park, the Wat Maha Puttharam and the Sisaket Rajabhat University. Got more time to kill? Sisaket Aquarium and Tak Khun Ampai Panich are also within reach.

Eating is one of life's greatest pleasures, and since you're reading this, you probably think travel is too. Combine your hunger for both by venturing out and trying the local cuisine at a handful of the bars, cafés and restaurants across town.
