If you're searching for accommodation in Boa Island, it's almost impossible to hop out of bed and be in the thick of the action in minutes. However, you will find 12 accommodation options within a 30-kilometre radius of the centre.

After pushing the snooze button a couple of times (you're on holidays, after all!), pull yourself out of your comfy bed at Harvey's Point Hotel and Lough Eske Castle, a Solis Hotel & Spa and you'll find yourself in Boa Island before you know it.

If you're still after a place to stay and finding it tricky, you could try the Lough Erne Resort or the Belmore Court & Motel. The first is 15 kilometres away, while the second is 25 kilometres away. If these aren't up your alley, we'd recommend the Mahons Hotel, which is 14 kilometres from town.

Room wasn’t made when we arrived and had to phone down as it was 2 singles and I had booked a double. Visited the pool and spa area, wasn’t impressed hot tub had some grim residue on the bottom of it and some things were very worn. Also went for a walk outside before dinner and the patio tiles were not secure which was dangerous. Ordered drinks previous to dinner and they came out after dinner was served. Seems to be very understaffed as took a while to be noticed we had finished. My husband had hoped to watch some rugby in the bar but was told by staff there was no tv, although we did see one in the front bar but it was very small so we decided against huddling around it. Had never visited Lough Erne and had high hopes especially for it being a 5 star hotel but sadly I wouldn’t return.
