Slightly disappointing
Hotel check in is not great, screens to check in and had to get someone for help as didn’t work - even though completed online before arrival. Was given a free drink pass on basis of not wanting my room cleaned in between my 2 day visit. Breakfast wasn’t great and evening meal was poor. Hotel room very noisy, you heard everything. Didn’t sleep well at all. Doors slam loudly and you can hear doors from everywhere all day and night!
Brilliant hotel, unfortunately the food let it down. We had an evening meal wigh over cooked mixed grill and cold and the breakfast came cold.
Definitely not worth eating here. Which is a huge shame as the hotel rooms are fantastic.
The hotel was conveniently located as we were visiting family in Blyth. Booked our room online and for some reason gave us a disability room. Spoke with Ellie who checked us in and we quickly arranged another room for us which was a balcony room which was lovely. Would definitely stay again.
We booked a twin room (husband and wife)
We were allocated a disabled room with double bed.
The sink in the bathroom was very low (obviously to allow wheelchair users easy access) and somewhat inconvenient.
The key cards repeatedly failed to unlock the room door and required resetting often.
Breakfast ordered then forgotten about, we had to chase it up and reorder.
The bar staff were mediocre at best too busy chatting amongst themselves.
For the price (£387 for 3 nights) I would have expected much better.
