Check-in slow seemed unable to find booking . Then our room was allocated to someone else luckily I needed to go back to room and found him entering our room , It took 20 mins to sort out at reception. Bar and food service pathetically slow . Room air conditioning sounded like a jet aircraft , advice from reception it’s the bathroom fan , felt very insulted ! Overall the Manchester Radisson is poor but Stansted is far worse , great location and infrastructure, ruined by totally inadequate staff.

Unclean toilet

Ok, but disappointed with state of the toilet bowl which was stained had mould under the back rim. Poor flush too. Really didn’t expect this for what we paid. Previous experience has been good so this needs to be rectified.

It's a great airport hotel--probably the best airport hotel I've ever stayed at. That said (and I stayed here last month), I'd previously said that the restaurant food wasn't that good (I had their fish and chips then, and it was like grocery store frozen food)--but this time I had a burger, which was pretty decent, and their breakfast, which was top-notch. However, at dinner when I arrived, the place was so full of guests that it was impossible to get a table, and even the bar was told to stop taking food orders because the restaurant couldn't handle it. Being there, there is no alternate place for a traveler to dine--unless you rent a car or take a taxi to who knows how far away? You are completely captive here, so be prepared. I don't know what I'd recommend to the hotel--they are fine people, and the place is great--besides expanding the capacity (and menu) of the restaurant.

I’ll say it is more likely a one off - and know that there are good people doing their best at their jobs but in this instance I have to give a poor review. After a 15 hour flight I had to get up at 3am and begged for a quiet room and I got one with a night club / techno party right outside my window. So be careful of that when you select your room bc there is a casino and loud events. They moved me to the other side thanks you for that but the damage was done - why didn’t they do that in the first place??? Attention to detail!!! You have to tell a customer they are getting a room above a casino or beside a wedding bash. The TV was broken, not a big deal to me. but not a good look. They don’t use top sheets, so it’s just a duvet which I’m sure they don’t clean every day so that’s totally gross (if they do it would be super high cost so I think not!). The room had a bit of a funky smell. I’m sure on another day it would be fine. Like I said nice people doing their best but they dropped the ball big time with me. At this stage no hard feelings I know it can be hard as it seems to be a pretty busy high turnover hotel.

Bedroom carpet unclean, toilet and bathroom dirty and mouldy, mismatched cups, few tea and coffee sachets. Asked for Earl Grey tea. Staff stated they had none. However saw some in reception. Fitness suite shut early for no apparent reason. Room tired not worth cost. Gone down hill. Have photos to justify.
