Planning to spend a decent chunk of your time checking out the centre of Berlin? the Mt Madison Inn & Suites and Gorham Motor Inn are about as close as you'll get to the action.

Attractions and Hotels Near Berlin

Don't spend all your break just in Berlin though — head out into the wider Great North Woods region and into nature. The area offers some gorgeous forests and mountains that you really won't want to miss. There’s no shortage of awesome activities to dive into here either, such as snowboarding. Or just get out your map, pick a place and see where your feet take you!

Don't skedaddle before you've gone to the Mount Washington Cog Railway and Fort Jefferson Fun Park in Bowman. If you'd like to spend a night or two in Bowman, look into the rates at The Inn at Bowman and Mount Jefferson View. Or, you could consider staying in Lancaster, 20 kilometres to the west of Berlin, where you can pick from the Cabot Inn & Suites and Coos Motor Inn. If you stay in Lancaster, set aside some time to check out Weeks State Park and the Weathervane Theatre.

Jackson is 30 kilometres from Berlin and has a population of 900. When you're there, you'd be mad if you didn't visit Jackson Falls, Jackson Historical Society and the Wentworth Golf Club. Black Mountain Ski Area and the Museum of White Mountain Art at Jackson are a couple more attractions which are sure to offer up some choice photo ops.
