You can never really know a city until you take a squiz at its neighbourhoods, so how about hitting up Bergondo? Whether you'd like to meet the locals or just head somewhere cosy for a bevvy, you'll find this suburb 14 kilometres southeast of central La Coruna. Lavacolla Airport is the closest airport and the jumping off point for your adventure. To make your way to the neighbourhood from here, hail a taxi, drive north for 50 kilometres and enjoy the journey!

This city is filled with things to do, and you'll uncover many of them near Bergondo. It's no easy task to pick the top sights, but Betanzos Church of San Francisco and Museo das Marinas are a couple you shouldn't miss. The have-to-see sights of Bastiagueiro Beach and Irmans Garcia Naveira Square are also easily accessible. While you're in town, consider stopping by some other neighbourhoods to experience more of what La Coruna has to offer. Lubre and Guisamo are good suggestions that are nearby.
