We arrived in Oban about 3 in the afternoon and left the next day at 7 AM, so our stay was quite short. However, our host was very nice and provided us with an unusually early, hot breakfast so we could be on our way early to the Glasgow airport.

Great stay at Glenview, you wont find a more helpful and welcoming hostess than Morven . Room and bathroom were spotless and very convenient being near retail park and a short walk into town. Highly recommend Glenview!

Lovely hostess, location was good with easy walking to restaurants and downtown. Parking on site. Great hot breakfast. Only downside was that she allowed guest to bring dog - fortunately it was quiet, but I’d have chosen a different lodging if I had been aware as not keen on dogs. Perhaps his should be an added piece of info on booking site?

Warm welcome, wonderful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glenview and hope to return. Our hostess was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and spotless. Our freshly cooked breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed the cosy TV lounge. Everyone was very kind and friendly to our wee dog Heather.

Glenview

I was initially a bit worried about noise from the very busy road outside, but the double glazing was excellent and I never heard any traffic at all. My single room was clean, comfortable, well equipped and had an excellent shower in the ensuite. My only slight niggle was the lack of BBC1 and BBC2 on the TV (despite me reinstalling the channels). However, what makes this B&B stand out is Morven, the landlady. She couldn't do enough for me when my car broke down and is an absolute star. She is friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. I will be back!

Morven the hostess was so welcoming and very accommodating.The room was clean warm and very spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was a shared shower and toilet but this was not a problem. I would stay here again and i would highly recommend it to my friends and family.

This was a per description. Location was great 10 min walk into the middle of Oban. 5 min walk to aldi, tesco or Lidl. Petrol station across the road and plenty of parking in the back. Breakfast was very generous.

I was glad to find accommodation so welcoming and with such welcoming staff. I had booked my room at the last minute but checking in was very swift and straight forward. I would recommend it to anyone making a trip to Oban.

We have a dog so always go self catering. Because we wanted a short add-on to our Wester Ross holiday we looked for dog friendly B&B. We will definitely be back for longer than one night next time we come to Oban. Very happy.
