Very responsive team and great location near the tubing hill! Loved the fireplace

We just returned from an amazing stay at this 2-bedroom condo, and it exceeded every expectation! The location is unbeatable — truly just 7 minutes to Schuss Mountain for incredible skiing (or summer golf), right in the heart of Shanty Creek Resort, and only a quick drive to Short's Brewery in Bellaire for beers and pub grub. We loved how central it was to all the best activities in Northern Michigan.The condo itself is super cozy and well-equipped. The fireplace was the highlight — nothing beats curling up by the fire after a day on the slopes or out exploring. The living space felt warm and inviting, the kitchen was fully stocked for easy meals, and both bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of space for our group.Everything was clean, thoughtfully set up, and the resort amenities (pools, hot tubs, shuttles) made it feel like a true vacation upgrade. Whether you're here for winter sports, golfing, hiking, or just relaxing with a beer from Short's, this spot is ideal.We can't wait to come back — highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect mix of adventure and comfort. 5 stars all the way! The Beaver’s Lodge is brand new and well appointed. It has a very comfy feel; it’s not a man cave. There are games for the kids, the kitchen is well setup, plenty of space and everything works. The owners are very responsive. The beds are very soft. Towels are brand new. Spotless clean.

Excellent stay, the house was just as advertised if not better! Comfortable, spacious common areas, comfortable beds and most important, very clean! Location was awesome, right near downtown and very close to Schuss! We were also able to bring our 2 dogs which is important to us! Would definitely stay again!

It reads 3 mi to Schuss Mtn which I assumed was 3 miles but it must be 3 minutes because it’s only about 1/2 mile from the Schuss Mtn ski & boot rental office and then you start skiing from there. It’s a beautiful home. We had 18 in our party. Plenty of beds for everyone. The main floor was all open with a 4 side gas fireplace. We had a group sitting at the sofas, a group at the large table playing games and people cooking in the kitchen while we all talked and laughed with each other. There were a few maintenance issues (upstairs shower valve needed a towel to turn on, kitchen sprayer stuck on, kitchen soap dispenser broken, 1/2 batch faucet loose) but these are easily fixed and wasn’t a major problem for our trip.

Katie was very responsive the from moment we reached out inquiring about a potential stay. She was so welcoming and even decorated for Christmas for us with a tree and other seasonal decor. She checked in on us via message to make sure everything was going smoothly. The house was perfect for what we needed. Spacious, conveniently located, and comfortable. Will definitely book again.
