Arc La Rambla is a quaint hotel located on La Rambla near the ocean. As with all properties, there were positive and negative aspects.
Positive:
- Great location in close proximity to many shops, restaurants, and bars. Easy to walk to a hop-on-hop-off tour bus stop.
- Very friendly staff, especially at the front desk.
- Very nice buffet breakfast included in the price.
- Comfortable bed and linens.
- TV has a number of channels in English.
- Nice common areas: lobby, breakfast room, etc.
Negative:
- The rooms are small by U.S. standards.
- The walls are thin so you can hear conversations in adjacent rooms.
- Very little storage - our room had 8 hangers and a shelf, but no drawers to put things, even on the night stands. This is probably okay for a short visit, but we were at the tail end of a 3-week trip so we had to get creative with our stuff.
- None of the amenities you'd normally find, even in low-end U.S. properties: no coffee maker, no refrigerator, no sofa, no desk.
- Most hotels store your luggage for free if you check in before your room is ready; this hotel charged 2 euros to use a locker.
