Book SYHA Hostelling Scotland Ballater accommodation

Property was nice. Was able to have two rooms next to each other as my family doesn’t fit into 1 in UK. Breakfast had lots of options and was enjoyable. Within walking distance of Main Street with shops and restaurants.

I thought the hotel building was an excellent example of Victorian hospitality, however, there were parts with were beginning to look a little worn, some carpets were wearing quite badly, but overall we loved the size of the room and the lovely bed.

This was one of the best stays of our 3 week trip! Don't miss this place!

The staff are the greatest asset. All friendly, helpful and smiling. The food at breakfast and dinner was exceptional. The room was huge - only negative was that it was a big too warm inside because the weather was sunny. No air con ( I don’t think). The grounds are gorgeous and views breathtaking. Extremely handy for Explorers Garden and Pitlochry theatre. Will definitely be back. Great facilities : gym, pool, hit tubs - lovely bar area too.
