When we go to Cortez, my husband and I usually stay at the Retro Inn. It is clean, comfortable, and affordable. It is an older hotel, but is well maintained. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is adequate.

Located in Towaoc, Ute Mountain Casino Hotel is within a 10-minute drive of Yucca House National Monument and Ute Mountain Tribal Park Visitor Center.
Problem was the flap on the bathroom fan flapped all night metal to metal it was loud. Hard to sleep noisy all night. Wife didn't sleep very well.

Non of the ice machines were working. They ran out of bacon at breakfast.
