From Bacva, travel approximately 160 kilometres north to find the renowned city of Klagenfurt am Woerthersee.

Sitting 45 kilometres to the south, Punta Verudela Beach is a terrific spot to while away a day enjoy the coastal sights and smells. Rabac Beach also boasts some pleasant scenery. You'll find this inviting shoreline 40 kilometres to the south.

You won't need to be stuck in a car all day to see some nature. Just 40 kilometres out of Bacva, Brijuni National Park is a wonderful place to kick back and relax. More picturesque surrounds are waiting for you at Katarina Island, 20 kilometres away.

Spend the day moving between the fluffy snow and a couch beside the fireplace at Platak Ski Resort and Cerkno Ski Centre. From first timers to those who really know their stuff, there's something for everybody at these snowy paradises.

Thinking of swinging by Baredine Cave and Basilica of Euphrasius? They're right near the centre of Farini, 2 kilometres to the northwest. Alternatively, travel to Visnjan. It's 4 kilometres to the northeast of Bacva and popular for Ancient Well and the Ancient City Walls.

Go on a day trip and visit some attractions in Tar-Vabriga. This destination is 9 kilometres to the northwest and not too far from Lanterna Beach, Novigrad Harbour and Novigrad Marina. That said, you won't want to miss Church of St. Kate and Church of the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary either.
