Make sure you ask for a renovated room. We figured since we were there for 16 Nights we would get one, but no deal. Our room was run down yet clean and next door was sparkling and newly renovated. Staff was professional and polite. Swimming pool gets no sunlight and is very small. Parking entrance was treacherous! Everyone was complaining how dangerous it was. We discovered the renovated room issue the day before we left up until then our positive vibe was much stronger!

My family and I stayed twice at the Nesuto St Martin’s Apartment Hotel. Once at the beginning of our visit to New Zealand and once at the end our trip. We chose this hotel because it had free cancellation and pay at the door. Furthermore, it was convenient to locations we wished to visit, as well as only about 30 minutes from the airport. When we first checked in, it was fast and easy, although we discovered that underground parking at the hotel was extra and that we should have booked parking as well as the rooms. When we checked in the second time, the receptionist insisted that we had double booked and wanted us to contact the booking agency to cancel one booking. It was not until my wife made it clear that we were two families travelling together and needed two apartments that the receptionist understood and checked us in. The apartments met our needs.

The room was very clean and had everything you needed. Cooking and laundry facilties . Close to the main areas of the town. The neighbourhood was quiet as well. Parking was provided for a fee but there was Wilson parking cheaper near by.

The rooms were big and good for a family, however there was no room for an additional bed in the rooms. It was very very tight and the bedrooms looked like they have been left when things break etc. There was no bedside tables. There was no air conditioning, no fans available. The floor absolutely stunk every night of potent spicy food. There were so many fruit flies in the room and the lobby of the floor. They were everywhere and no fruit in our room. The floor were so stained and dirty it felt really unhygienic. The rooms weren’t serviced daily which was fine, but no one advised where to put the rubbish or the dirty towels. We would have reused the but was no where to put them to dry.

Excellent location, good value for money, clean and tidy. Staff very accommodating and friendly. We stayed here as we needed to be close to the Auckland City Hospital. Just a short walk over Grafton Bridge onto Park Road - under 10min walk

The staff were amazing, helpful and super kind. The rooms were not clean, I had a cockroach in my room above my bed whilst trying to sleep. And the parking is horrendous. I witnessed a lady almost roll her car back and crash it while trying to get it out of the very tight, steep underground parking.
