I have stayed here a lot and been happy overall. However it has become noisier at night time and the floors are very thin so you can hear people walking around and they don’t seem to stop all night which isn’t ideal when I’m there for work. Will probably try somewhere else next time.

We always stay here when in Auckland. Its our favorite place to stay. Its always clean and we love the convenience of parking and self catering kitchenette. The lady at the front desk is always super friendly and helpful. We recommend Roomie to everyone!

The bed was super comfortable, the shower was so relaxing with the rain shower head and the temperature was perfect. The room was spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed. The staff were helpful and friendly. And the access gate made you feel safe.

4/5 stars - great but some room for improvement

We had a great stay overall and would happily return, but a couple of small details let it down from a full 5 stars. The positives: Spacious, comfortable rooms with a super comfy bed Great location - train station at the door, and fantastic cafes and food nearby (we especially loved Browne Street and Toko's Tacos!) Friendly and helpful staff 24-hour check-in Secure, easy parking Toilet separate from the bathroom - very practical Good shower with decent pressure A few things that could be improved: Amenities were a bit stingy - just two sachets of body wash for a 3-night stay. We shower morning and night, so this barely covered day one. We expected a top-up the next day but were told rooms are only serviced every second day. That’s fine, but it would be helpful if guests were told this in advance, and/or if enough towels and toiletries were provided to cover the gap. TV placement – it can’t be seen from the bed. A swivel mount would make a big difference. Blocked bathroom sink – it drained so slowly it was basically unusable. We reported it, but unfortunately it wasn’t fixed during our stay, so we ended up brushing our teeth in the shower. These were small annoyances and easy to work around, but also easily fixable. If not for those, this would’ve been a 5-star stay.
