A perfect place to escape to with expansive views of Waiheke and the ocean and no neighbours.
This is the perfect spot to get away from it all. Fabulous sea views from the deck, living area and bedroom. You will find peace and tranquility at this stand alone property. The house uses solar power and has all the amenities required for modern living. It is also a great place to escape to in winter with its cosy interior and log burning fire.

Please note: Hairdryers cannot be used as the house is solar powered. Also as the house is solar powered only limited small appliances are available.

Pets considered upon application. Written consent and a $500 bond required for pets. The bond will be charged to the card on file 7 business days prior to arrival and refunded to the card pending the property inspection within 7 days of departure.

Fantastic views

Great place, with everything we needed. Best part was the views and lovely deck to enjoy them on. Very private, but definitely need the 4wd to get up the driveway as listed.

The Hut on the Hill

So very relaxing simply not only enjoying the vistas from every angle this unpretentious little hut offers but also the fact that it caters so adequately for all the basic needs one has - without a television set. Loved our stay even though the driveway is somewhat terrifying. Property management staff outstanding.

Great little house; amazing views

The property is gorgeous—extremely secluded, with stunning views (even by Waiheke standards!) of multiple bays and vineyards. The house is small but well-equipped, modern, and clean. No surprises. If you want somewhere to just hang out and chill it would be hard to beat. The flip-side of the seclusion is you will probably have to drive (or be driven) anywhere you want to go. (Casita Miro is a half-hour walk; Ostend is probably about a 25 minute walk.) This was fine for us as we had previously been staying elsewhere on the island and so just wanted somewhere quiet. I wouldn’t call it a negative—just something to be aware of. Booking, check-in and check-out were all easy.

Excellent location

We love the secluded location, with magnificent views wherever you look. The accommodation provided everything you need and it was great to get away from TV and just enjoy nature.
