I highly recommend the Phidias for a pre-cruise stay. The rooms are exceptionally clean. The staff is both professional and personable, very interested in making sure all your questions and concerns are addressed and that your stay is enjoyable. The area is safe for walking with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The complimentary transportation to the cruise port is a special perk. I would definitely stay there again.

The Phidias Piraeus Hotel is located one block off the Marina. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The shower, the air conditioner and lighting were all better than expected. We arrived early and did not wait long for our room. The people working the desk and the chef were all very friendly and helpful. There is an elevator, although small, but it made life easy with our heavy bags. Breakfast was a buffet of different hot food like eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, and a nice selection of breads and cookies and cakes, yogurt with all the fixings, and a fancy coffee machine for lattes, cappuccino, espresso, flat white, and more. The small balconies allowed us to get the breeze instead of needing the air conditioner on.

The hotel has a great location and we enjoyed the shuttle service from the port and metro. There is a free cell phone for personal use including free international calls. Friendly and helpful. Clean room--a bit on the small side. The only negative was that there was a febreeze scent coming from the air ducts that bothered me--only when running the air. I would stay there again. Breakfast available for a fee.

The property was well worth the price I payed for one night's stay. It is conveniently located with in walking distance from the port if you are taking a cruise. It is within walking distance to many dining spots which were very reasonable in price.

Great hotel, Cabbies not so much!

Very helpful staff. Great location for cruising and walking around. Cab from airport took us to another Phidias hotel and dropped us off before we realized we were at the wrong hotel. Clarify Phidias Piraeus and have your gps running if possible to ensure the proper drop off location. Cabs in Greece overall can be sketchy.
