The room is absolutely fantastic. Very modern and clean. The only downside of the hotel is that it’s small with the elevator barely being able to fit two people. There isn’t much of lounge but the rooms and staff were wonderful.

Close to many attractions, restaurants and shopping. Very friendly staff clean facility and nice restaurant. Rooms nice and comfortable. However, expect to find yourself in a narrow hotel, it’s a bit small.

Hotel services are good. Room and area around are excellent. Breakfast opens at 7:30am that is too late for having flight departure before 11:00am. Breakfast service was so bad. It is not recommended to have breakfast option.

We had a wonderful stay at Athenian Foss. Eva at reception was absolutely amazing – warm, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. We’ve already rebooked for another 2 nights before ending our Greek summer holiday. The location is perfect – just a short walk from both Monastiraki and Syntagma metro stations (direct airport line) and only about 15 minutes from the Acropolis. Surrounded by great restaurants and shopping, the hotel is perfectly situated so we could walk everywhere. Our room was clean, spacious, and we especially loved the huge balcony. The breakfast was fabulous and such a great way to start each day. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Athens!

Athenian Foss is in a great location. Very central to all of the areas you want to visit when in Athens. The service by hotel staff was fantastic! From planning the trip from home and throughout our stay. The affiliated restaurant below, Greco, is where breakfast is served. They also served lunch and dinner and were reasonably priced and delicious. I would stay and eat here again.

Great hotel in a great location. Giving 4 stars only because it was perhaps a tad expensive for the overall room and amenities. Easy walk around Plaka and most of sites in Athens. Will visit again if price is right.

Athenian Foss was a tucked away gem I was lucky enough to stumble across! The location was prime for walking to the Plaka markets and the Acropolis. The dinning downstairs was also phenomenal. My next trip to Athens will be at this amazing hotel.

Loved the location!! Everything was great, staff was helpful, room very clean. However, the hotel is noisy, particularly the 5th floor just under the attic used by staff. If you're looking for a quiet stay, not the best option (avoid the 5th floor). Other than that, very practical, clean and modern.
