With some 54,000 people living in the city, get ready to mingle with a few friendly locals. Aris lies 12 kilometres northwest of the downtown area. If you're making your way there from Kalamata International Airport (KLX), hail a taxi or take some public transport and head northwest for 6 kilometres.

If you wander around Aris for long enough, there's a good chance you'll stumble into one of the surrounding neighbourhoods. Be sure to take in the sights and sounds of Triodhos, Piperitsa and Eva.
