Stayed at Ararat Motor Inn and overall, it’s a good place to stay. Our booking was ‘upgraded’ from a single queen bed to a twin setup, which felt a bit odd for a couple. Honestly, I couldn’t notice much of an upgrade. On the positive side, the Wi-Fi was stable and fast, and the bed linen was fresh and comfortable. However, the towels seemed a little worn out and could use an update.

It's actually good for the price - has everything but held in various places you have to find; our aircon was held together with sticky tape & there was little heat eventhough we had it on 27degrees C all night. The bedding is made up of a sheet & blanket type covers. Very difficult to move. Our friend next door had an electric blanket. We didn't.

Comfortable, clean and quiet

Located away from bypass route so quiet, comfortable and clean. Room size was good for a couple. Staff are friendly. Eating places just a few blocks away in town centre recommend the newly opened Mess and Barracks
