Thanks god Tahina/Tabhina right after my complaint had someone changed my beds sheets that did not cover the mattress by the head pillow side. Also she had them changed the white bed cover that had stains. She is the best! Now a half bottle of white wine Josh Chardonnay ( not a great wine more a in the moment wine) was left by my TV when I came back from the concert. I gave it back in the morning when I left because I did not get a iced wine bucket for it and no wine glasses as well so I could not drink it last night. I suggested that if they don’t have wine glasses for amenities, and no wine bucket, then they should only used red wine wich does not need to be chilled and if they don’t have wine glasses in that case use wine in a can so no need of glasses…

Very Historical Property

There are 3 different properties. You check in one place and then have to be driven to the one you are staying in. The room I was in was nice, but very small. It wouldn’t have worked for two people. I had to Lyft to pick up my car as I had an early flight. The $50 valet fee was a little excessive.

Book another hotel.

Sorry but could barely understand the hotel check in staff. The Robert Johnson house is interesting. No staff, just customers. The bed in room 2122 near the window has an old lopsided mattress. The tub needs refinishing. The toilet leaks. The staff did not understand what I was saying about the toilet. I speak English. The remote didn’t work. Best of all, I was told parking was $29.00 per night by staff. Bill was $152.00 for less than 48 hours. What a ripoff. The only thing I could give 5 stars for is location.

Location is good but there was alot of municipal work in the immediate area with early am street noise. Rooms need an update and a/c was loud. Unfortunately someone decided to paint inside elevators before a busy weekend. What’s the natural thing to do …lean against the back wall….stained my husband’s shirt and the same for another guest. A very small sign appeared to be marketing vs the necessary- Wet paint advisory. When asked about restaurant recommendations front desk had no specific suggestions. Without a concierge , the front desk should be sble to offer a suggestion or 2. We were repeaters but next time will try another inn.
